After a part-time association with Anaesthesia Associates since 1995, Peter made the full-time transition to this office in 2005. In addition to his office commitments, he is very busy in the dental community at large. His training and credentials include: graduating from the University of Toronto with his DDS and M.Sc. degrees in 1993; completing his diploma in Dental Anaesthesia in 1996; Fellowship in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology in 1997; induction as a Fellow into the honorary, worldwide Pierre Fauchard Academy; and recognition as a certified specialist in Dental Anaesthesia in Ontario with the creation of the specialty in 2007. He is an instructor with the dental schools at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario and lectures frequently for various groups. He is also an instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and the dental consultant for the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto FC and the U of T Varsity Blues. Finally, Peter is a member of the editorial board of the dental journal, Oral Health.
Professionally, Peter is also involved with organized dentistry. He is a past president of both the Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia (www.cadahq.org) and the Ontario Dental Society of Anaesthesiology. He is also the co-founder of CN Dental Seminars (www.cndentalseminars.com), which holds annual dental meetings abroad. And in 2007, he joined the editorial board of the national dental journal, Oral Health. He is the author of numerous articles in dental journals.
In keeping with his training as a general practitioner with a specialty in Dental Anaesthesia, Peter has tailored his practice to accommodate patients who are very young, dentally anxious, medically compromised or developmentally delayed.
Without question, Peter is proudest of his accomplishments at home. Along with his wife, Chantal, he has 2 children in midtown Toronto.
